A metal frame with rounded edges; an attempt to reinvent the wheel: that is the Zentrifuge. In its laborious fashion, the metall object that squares the circle, warps and wends over the pavement. By means of proceeding through the urban landscape; loud, demanding, present, Cynthia, within this frame, falls out of the common street scenery through unfamiliar movements – almost.

Ein metallener Rahmen mit gerundeten Ecken ist die “Zentrifuge”. In diesem Objekt, daß den Raum um die Performerin fest umreißt, in einen Rahmen stellt, beginnt die Reise. Eine körperliche Anstrengung, das Durchmessen der Stadt, eine Erkundung im öffentlichen Raum die zur Kommunikation herausfordert, provoziert, eine seltsame Art der Fortbewegung, ein schwieriges Gehen, eine Umwuchtung, eine Zentrifuge, die sich durch die Straßen bewegt, laut und auffällig, bemerkenswert, präsent.
