Frottage lends itself to my performative practice, I love the way the paper wraps around the objects that I try to capture. I use my face, my body and continue to discover the world around me. The playfulness of a 3-dimensional world unfolding onto – or into? – a flat surface, the creases and patterns combine each thing to a haptical sensation. You would be surprised as to how loud it is to be inside a drawing while it is processed!
